Dharmaseva is a community dedicated to all those who believe that a better world can and should be constructed, here and now. The foundations of this new world are described in the ancient Vedic literature as the four principles of truthfulness, compassion, cleanliness and discipline. These pillars of Dharma are equally valid for all cultures and spiritual traditions: they are absolutely necessary for any material or spiritual progress.

According to the Vedas, there is no contradiction between different but genuine presentations of Dharma, just like all views of a mountain range are true even if taken from different perspectives due to the specific spatial position of the observer.

Dharmaseva creates a bridge crossing the gap between Eastern and Western cultures, between spirituality and practical life, between ancient ways and future ways. It offers a composite view of the same Reality, helping your mind to become free from rigid patterns and able to embrace a wider vision - the complete picture where all relative truths become reconciled.

The Wheel symbolizes the universal order, called Dharma or Ritu. This universal order keeps all the planets, the stars and the galaxies revolving in their orbits, and regulates the repetition of creation, maintenance and destruction.

The ancient wisdom of the Earth speaks about the cyclic nature of time and reality. It is symbolized by the Wheel of Dharma, called Dharma Chakra in Sanskrit (the ancient language of India) and used in both Hindu and Buddhist traditions for the traditional iconography, meditation, dance and worship rituals as an auspicious sign.
